Engineer Aid is an independent desk for engineering buyers. We benchmark software, labor, stamping and tax-credit spend and help teams negotiate it.

We do not resell software licenses, place contractors or prepare tax returns, and we are not affiliated with or endorsed by the vendors named on this site. Vendor names appear because buyers compare them; the comparisons describe pricing structures and contract terms to check, not endorsements.
02How the benchmarks are built
Benchmarks are typical 2025-2026 US market ranges for list prices, rate cards and fee structures, reviewed in November 2026. They are a starting point for negotiation; written quotes govern. Statutory references (IRC §§ 41, 174 and 280C, state engineering laws, ITAR) are summarised for planning and are not legal or tax advice.
